‧Heavy metal Treatment
Since the announcement of Soil and Groundwater Pollution Remediation Act was made, treatment of hazardous waste has become increasingly important. In view of this, a technology licensing agreement for exclusive agency was concluded by L&A with the subsidiary company of U.S. Waste Management Group for its WES-PHix process patent to treat hazardous ashes or bottom ashes produced from incinerators and hazardous heavy metal sludge from electroplating manufacturers or electronics manufacturers.
The treatment process has been certified by Taipei Neihu Refuse Incineration Plant as capable of effectively treating hazardous ashes from incinerators; what is more, the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP) was also proved to conform to the stipulated criteria stated for heavy metal leaching from hazardous waste.
